Comfortable. Olivia’s relationship with Stanley is comfortable but is comfortable really enough? Tormented by the condom which has resided in her purse for a decade, Olivia Lyons decides she wants more. When her childhood friend goes through a heart-wrenching breakup with her boyfriend, Olivia takes the leap back into singledom by moving to London to support her.
Olivia is looking to explore herself, to find the excitement lacking in her relationship. What she isn’t looking for is E, the man who makes her lose her morals, boundaries, and underwear.
E is mysterious, secretive, and very, very bad for Olivia’s mental health. For her mission of sexual exploration, however, he is the definition of masculine perfection. Even if she wants to punch him in the face.
E doesn’t open up for anyone, he knows what he wants and he takes it, binds it, and spanks it. E has already raised a family, he’s not looking to start a traditional relationship and that suits Olivia just fine. Their relationship is defined by rules which lean in his favour, and that’s fine at first because he can teach her so much, but how long can a girl like Olivia tolerate a man like E before things become inevitably complicated and she gets hurt?

I need some more Ian ASAP
By SUSAN SPARKS
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
First Ian has been the brother I have been waiting for, I love Karl and Craig but Ian is truly that complex man with so many secrets and a wall so thick that its begging to be torn down. For most of the first half of the book Ian and Olivia have a sex only relationship, Ian is extremely open about what he wants and doesn't want and I expected nothing less of this infuriating man. The turning point in the book for Ian was obvious to me, at this point he is able to connect with Olivia in a way that no one else can; let me say I was happy that Ian didn't shut Olivia out at this time but stepped up and opened up a part of himself to her, it wasn't a lot but enough for their relationship to go further. The ending OMG give the next freaking book right NOW! It wasn't a do or die suspenseful ending I was expecting but it still left me salivating for the next book. I sincerely hope for my sanity that we do not have to wait long for the next book, if you learned anything about Ian he does not make snap decisions like the one that was made and you just know the potential for an awesome conclusion is headed your way.

the book was a great continuation of the series
By Laura
Overall, the book was a great continuation of the series. Although it could be read as a stand-alone, you will be more invested in Ian, or "E," if you read the Always and Contradictions series in order, which I very much recommend. An Open Lock had a great plot if you consider it is 1/2 of the book, which it is because the second installment hasn't come out yet. The book poses an internal conversation for the reader if Ian is being abusive towards Olivia or if he's just dominant. I would recommend the book because it's HIGHLY entertaining, but the spelling mistakes are VERY distracting throughout the book (I counted 8 mistakes, but after a disappointing while, I just ended up ignoring them, so there might be more). Great job, RJ! I look forward to reading the 2nd installment to see what happens after the cliffhanger and if Olivia will be introduced to the other Carters.

One Alpha Male
By Mrs. T. A. M. Gray
I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review.
R J Sable writes the most compelling stories out. When you read her stories you become part of the story and enraptured with the characters. Boy o boy is the main character intriguing, domineering, complex but lovable all rolled into one. This story is slightly different from the rest of RJs books in that the leading lady doesn't have an underlying issue from her past. She needs to grow sexually as she has been in a hum drum relationship. Rude awakening when she meets Ian Carter who you just hate to love. What RJ has done is to build the story up to what you hope is a happy conclusion but oh no - there will be more because this story leaves you wanting more - far far far more. Way to go RJ. I'm looking forward to the next book. I hope to see more of Ian's POV and of course, the Carter tribe. Loved it! Well done RJ! X
