Well worth the wait!

Exceptional! Thank you! I have always appreciated Linda Godfrey's writing style and research...... she brings out those things that are hiding in plain sight! I love it when that happens :) She has a way of reminding us of the way things connect in life and to "relearn" to trust our own senses. These are stories from everyday people, every walk of life, like you and I.
Some of the "dogman" stories that she recounts, ring true. These stories note fear, intelligence, evil, and a sulfur smell and having visits around 3:00 a.m. or thereabouts. If you have read Deliver Us From Evil, Ralph Sarchie, he also notes fear, intelligence, evil and a sulfur smell. He also notes that demons (monsters) like to visit around 3:00 a.m. or thereabouts. He is a NYC Police Officer that was mentored/taught by Father Malachi Martin, a demonologist who wrote, Hostage to the Devil. Do I believe these stories? Yes, I sure do. I think some are cryptids (paw prints/physical evidence) and some may be demons (lack of physical evidence like paw prints). From what I have read, demons can take any shape. That being said, I would have to think about how the demons know of the wolfman/dogman's appearance .... how is it all connected? Hiding in plain sight? They all use the same Portal? Must be a busy road ...
Another point of, "hiding in plain sight", comes under her heading of "Deep Psi". She discusses a statement of Harvard professor, Edward O. Wilson, " What we intuitively believe to be the "real world" is what we SEE. But what we SEE is only an infinitesimal slice of the electromagnetic spectrum, comprising wavelengths of 400 to 700 billionths of a meter". He adds that many animals see a light spectrum far beyond our own range The same thing applies to sound, smell, taste and touch as well. As I was reading, I was thinking .... I know this ..... I know this ...... thanks for the reminder! My own experiences and my dogs and cats show me this all the time! It is very real and about as "common sense" as it gets.
This book is a terrific read! The Church Lady Monster (with multiple church witnesses) ABSOLUTELY ROCKED MY FOUNDATION of what I perceive as REAL! We are ALL connected, we may not always know how, but we are. Enjoy!

Otherworldy Havoc vs. Linda Godrey...a Great Read

This is a solid book on things that go bump in the night and how Linda bumps back. As a fellow investigator of odd phenomena, I greatly appreciate her field and literature research capabilities...especially how she translates them onto the written page. Also, Mrs. Godfrey is a gifted storyteller which keeps the book flowing at a good pace. She presents multiple theories on what may or may not of occurred for each case study she presents. When she does state her opinion, Linda lets the reader knows it is hers and that she may not be correct. This is a breath of fresh air compared to many other researchers/authors whom state their opinion as the only explanation possible. As a bonus, this book actually has cutting edge scientific theories included to try and explain some of what is going on. The author has done a nice job translating them into more reader/laymen friendly terms. Overall, another solid contribution to paranormal study from Linda.

Another excellent work by author/researcher Linda Godfrey. This time her research takes a higher strangeness than usual when the confronts the possibility of other dimensional portals, paranormal activity connected to Hairy bipedal encounters, morphing creatures. She identifies three camps within the so-called Cryptozoological world: one the flesh and bone camp, which clings to 'normal' flesh and bone creatures, hitherto undiscovered, Two: A certain group that allows for the possibility of a combination of all three factors and number 3 (which I am an entrenched member) is the Paranormal, other dimensional, etc camp. This book is a must read for ALL serious researchers from all camps. thank you Linda
