About the Author
Anne Myers received her Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research.
Christine Hansen is currently Associate Professor of Psychology at Oakland University. She received her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Her professional affiliations include the American Psychological Society, Midwestern Psychological Association, Golden Key National Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Sigma XI National Scientific Research Honor Society, and Society for Experimental Social Psychology. Her varied research interests--which have been funded by the NSF and NIH--include behavioral and personality effects of popular music, contemporary media, emotive information processing, and bioinformatics.

I highly recommend keeping this book for future reference

This was a really helpful book to understand the different methods employed by psychologists. I highly recommend keeping this book for future reference. Don't get stir-crazy and sell it, although used copies of this are incredibly cheap. It's really good to look back. If you plan on going and getting your PhD then this is something that you'll want on your shelf.

Good for scientific reasoning.

This book provided me necessary information for my class, "Experimental Psychology." Simple. Straightforward. It was a good guide for understanding and applying the scientific method in social sciences.

Not too shabby

Well written. I would have preferred something that was a little bit more interesting, but was able to pass the course using this. The authors did a good job explaining most of the content.
